Good Governance of the School Administrators Under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28

This research aimed to 1) explore the school management based on the concept of good governance of the school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28, and 2) investigate the practical approach of the school development based on the concept of good governance of the school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28.
The sample in the research consisted of 359 teachers. The key informants in the interview were comprised of five administrators from school administrators who received the outstanding school administrators award and the best civil service award, including teachers with academic standing at expert Level. The instruments for data collection included a questionnaire and interview form. To analyze the data, the researcher conducted the statistics consisting of frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation for the quantitative research, and the content analysis for the qualitative study.
Results indicated that 1) in an overview, the school management based on the concept of good governance of the school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28 was at a high level. 2) The practical approach of the school development based on the concept of good governance of the school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 28 discovered that school administrators must study rules and regulations, develop oneself in order to perform correctly, strengthen rules and regulations, with four principles virtuous existence complying with professional standards and professional ethics. Moreover, school administrators arranged a meeting to explain teachers and personnel to understand their roles and responsibility according to the mission. They could create a working atmosphere with participation, generous and open-minded, listening to people, and choosing good opinions, providing a booth for views, understanding and accessing to all teachers and personnel. The school administrators also established clear guidelines and discipline in operation, analyzing and evaluating the economy and worthiness, implementing modern technology methods for efficient management planning.
