Creative Leadership of School Administrators Under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 2

This study aimed to 1) investigate the creative leadership of school administrators under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 2, and 2) set the guidelines for the development of creative leadership of school administrators under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 2. The sample consisted of 364 teachers of schools under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 2 in academic year 2019. The key informants for the interview were comprised of six administrators under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 2. The research instruments were a questionnaire and an interview. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the content analysis for the interview.
Results indicated that: 1) in an overview, the creative leadership of school administrators under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 2 was at a high level, 2) the guidelines for the development of creative leadership of school administrators were categorized into four areas namely: (1) Imagination: by studying models, methods, and techniques leading to success, collecting information of various sources to apply them appropriately; (2) Vision: by practice planning, diligently develop oneself, find solutions, advantages and disadvantages, revise, consider their thinking before making a decision, create new methods, find ways to work with clear objectives to develop school efficiently; (3) Inspirations: by behave themselves as a competent example, inspire and motivate oneself, teachers and personnel in the school to change attitudes and behaviors, be ready to improve and develop their potential at a maximum efficiency; and (4) Flexibility: use their knowledge beneficially for the management, adjust rules, regulations, and procedures appropriate for the context of educational institution.
