A dialogue of Goodness in Theravada Buddhism

This article entitled to study the dialogue of philosophy, to analyze the dialogue of goodness in the concept of Theravada Buddhist Philosophy. This is a qualitative research done by studying academic documents. In the research, it was found that dialogue of philosophy is based on Socrates’s dialectic method by taking many dialogues on these subjects. There are meanings of goodness that is the entireness of mind and ultimate truth. In this case, the goodness is related with human duties because it is talked about the transcend goodness. In addition, it is value keeping us the goodness. In Theravada Buddhist Philosophy, the dialogue of goodness is talked with cause and effect in Karma law and the relation in oneself and other utility. Although goodness is based on nature law being pure duty and own value in Philosophy but there is view in Theravada Buddhist Philosophy that doing duty is oneself and other utility.
