The Effect of Business Management Based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, Entrepreneurial Orientation and Corporate Social Responsibility toward Sustainability of the Retail Business in Bangkok

The objectives of this research were to analyze 1) the correlation among sustainability of the retail business, corporate social responsibility, business management based on the sufficiency economy philosophy and entrepreneurial orientation 2) the influence of business management based on the sufficiency economy philosophy and entrepreneurial orientation on corporate social responsibility, and 3) the influence of corporate social responsibility, business management based on the sufficiency economy philosophy and entrepreneurial orientation on the sustainability of the retail business in Bangkok. The research was quantitative. The questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection from retail business in Bangkok in Thailand. The data were analyzed in term of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation Pearson correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The results indicated as follows:
1) Sustainability of the retail business was related to corporate social responsibility, business management based on the sufficiency economy philosophy and entrepreneurial orientation.
2) Business management based on the sufficiency economy philosophy and entrepreneurial orientation affected to corporate social responsibility.
3) Corporate social responsibility, business management based on the sufficiency economy philosophy and entrepreneurial orientation affected the sustainability of the retail business in Bangkok.
