The Effectiveness of the Buddhist way for Children Raising in Purifying Citta from Pregnancy Project Sathira-dhammasathan, Bangkok

Abstract

The objective of research has three factors as follows: to analyze the effectiveness of the Buddhist child-rearing training course for the participants in that project, to proceed the body of knowledge of children raising with purifying mind (citta) from Pregnancy. The research had been preceded with the method of in-depth interview and to analyze contents for concluding and descriptive discussion.

          The result of research has revealed that 1) The effect of child-rearing with the Buddhist way in that project which participants were involved in an activity, and problem, obstacle, how to solve that child-rearing, included rising to purifying mind for children in the present time. 2) The Knowledge of this researchhas as follows: (1) Process and the body of knowledge of Dhamma-teaching of nuns is about the main principles: mindfulness of in and out breathing, four mental exercises, the Dependent Origination and loving-kindness (in the group: the four holy abiding) (2) the Buddhist knowledge of the scholar nun, Sansanee Sthirasuta, who expressed the profound principles, communicated to the participants distinctly, and induced themselves to practice Buddhist principles daily. (3) the knowledge of the project management system that is designed effectively to be daily-proceeded process, to contribute to the learning and understanding that person can learn in everyday life, and has a deep understanding in both physical and mental subject, Pregnancy, child-rearing and the right development of child-ages. (4) the knowledge of the environment – culture of organization: the participants have the appropriate atmosphere for the practice guidelines of the Children Raising in Purifying Citta from Pregnancy.
