Buddhist Method in Home School

Abstract

This article aims to study the application of Buddhist method in conducting home school. The course focuses in allowing project managers or parents to prepare readiness to their learners or children, together with the learning management according to the learner’s skills, as well as the ability in using based upon self-potential for the completed human values development. The learners shall be qualified as a good person in both well-practice and proper expression in terms of physical skills, social skills, mental - moral skills and Intelligence. The basic idea is derived from the modification of original learning methods which is self-knowledge-centered instead of text-book-centered. The said process consists of principles and methods based on the threefold training (sikkha). The goal of homeschool is to harmonize the process of family teaching management with the learner’s nature leading to individual as well as social happiness.
