National Strategic Risk Management Organized by the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) in 2014 - 2018
Abstract
The purpose of this article aimed to analyze the national strategic risk management on governmental administration happened after coup d’état from 2014 – 2017, in relations to its economic, social, political, and information technological factors together with the government’s arguments on public policies, and pushing Thailand policies into Thai reform 4.0, as well as to synthesize procedures for the national strategic risk management administered by the National Council for Peace and Order.
The research findings revealed that the administrative process and national strategic risk management organized by the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) were divided into eight major steps: (1) the analysis of conflict environment and national situations; (2) the identification of objectives related to state administration; (3) the indication of situations leading to warfare; (4) the assessment of all-round risky situations; (5) responses to required claims learned from political arguments; (6) controlling peaceful situations; (7) the applications of effective information technology and communications management, and (8) follow-ups on Thais’ responses on governmental administration
