ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำวิจัยไม่แล้วเสร็จตามระยะเวลาที่กำหนด ของบุคลากรคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ประยุกต์

บทคัดย่อ

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ ศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำวิจัยไม่แล้วเสร็จตามระยะเวลาที่กำหนดของบุคลากรคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ พบว่าปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการทำวิจัยไม่แล้วเสร็จตามระยะเวลาที่กำหนดของบุคลากรคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ในด้านต่างๆ มีดังนี้ปัจจัยด้านผู้ทำวิจัยในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับความสำคัญปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายข้อพบว่า ข้อที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับความสำคัญมาก ได้แก่ ภาระงานประจำมาก รองลงมาคือ ไม่สามารถจัดสรรเวลาในการทำวิจัยได้ตามที่กำหนด และหาผู้ช่วยวิจัยที่มีคุณภาพยาก ตามลำดับ ปัจจัยด้านงบประมาณ ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับความสำคัญปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายข้อพบว่า ข้อที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมาก ได้แก่ อัตราค่าตอบแทนผู้ช่วยวิจัยค่อนข้างต่ำรองลงมาคือ งบประมาณที่ได้รับไม่เพียงพอ และจำนวนงบประมาณที่ทางคณะให้ยืมไม่เพียงพอต่อการใช้จ่าย ตามลำดับ ปัจจัยด้านสถานที่และวัสดุอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องในการทำวิจัย ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับความสำคัญมาก เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายข้อพบว่า ข้อที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมาก ได้แก่ ความทันสมัยของอุปกรณ์ที่มีอยู่ไม่เพียงพอต่อการทำวิจัย รองลงมาคือ สถานที่ในการทำวิจัยมีไม่เพียงพอ เช่น ห้องปฏิบัติการและความยุ่งยากในการจัดซื้อจัดหาอุปกรณ์ ตามลำดับปัจจัยด้านผลการทำวิจัย ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับความสำคัญปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายข้อพบว่าข้อที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมาก ได้แก่ ต้องทำการทดลองซ้ำหลายครั้งเพื่อความถูกต้อง รองลงมาคือ ระยะเวลาในการทำวิจัยแต่ละขั้นตอนไม่เป็นไปตามแผนที่วางไว้และผลการวิจัยที่ได้ไม่เป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ ตามลำดับ

Factors effecting research incompletion of the staffs in the Faculty of Applied Sciences

The objective of this research is to study factors which obstructs researches of the staffs in the Faculty of Applied Sciences from completion on time Several factors considered researchers, funding, location and research equipments, research’s outcome and other factors. The findings indicated that factor from researchers in general are significant in a moderate level. In more details, significant obstacles under researcher factor are work load, inefficient time management skills and lack of qualified research assistant, respectively. Financial factor is, also moderately significant. To be specific, the most significant obstacles under this factor are low rate of stipend, for research assistant, inadequate financial support and insufficient faculty loan, respectively. Location and equipments factor, however, was revealed that as highly significant. The main barriers under this factor are obsolete equipments, insufficient laboratory and difficulty in obtaining or purchasing equipments, respectively. For research’s outcome factor, findings pointed out that this factor is significance in a moderate level. The underlying reasons are many repetitive experiments undertaken for accuracy, too much time consuming and unexpected results from each experiment delaying schedule planned, and the outcomes are not aligned with the objective, respectively.
