การนำเสนอแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาในนวนิยายของแก้วเก้า

บทคัดย่อ

บทความวิจัยนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาวิธีการนำเสนอแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาในนวนิยายของแก้วเก้า จากนวนิยายจำนวน 29 เรื่อง ผลการศึกษาพบว่าแก้วเก้านำเสนอแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาอย่างชัดเจนผ่านบทสนทนา และด้วยวิธีการต่างๆ อีก 4 วิธี ได้แก่ การนำเสนอแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาด้วยการสร้างตัวละคร การนำเสนอแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาด้วยฉาก การนำเสนอแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาด้วยการเล่าเรื่องย้อนอดีต และการนำเสนอแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาด้วยชื่อเรื่องวิธีการนำเสนอแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาดังกล่าวทำให้นวนิยายของแก้วเก้ามีความน่าสนใจ และแสดงให้เห็นความสามารถของผู้เขียนที่สามารถนำหลักธรรมในพุทธศาสนามาผสานกับจินตนาการทำให้ผลงานของแก้วเก้ามีความโดดเด่นในด้านความบันเทิงที่สอดแทรกแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาอย่างเด่นชัด การนำเสนอแนวคิดพุทธศาสนาในนวนิยายของแก้วเก้าแสดงให้เห็นว่า หลักธรรมในพุทธศาสนาแทรกซึมอยู่ในวิถีชีวิตของพุทธศาสนิกชน เป็นส่วนสำคัญที่กำหนดความคิด ความเชื่อของคนไทย การอ่านนวนิยายในฐานะบันเทิงคดีจึงเป็นการรับรสความบันเทิง ในขณะเดียวกันก็เป็นการรับรู้หลักธรรมในพุทธศาสนาที่สะท้อนผ่านนวนิยายได้เป็นอย่างดี

Buddhist Concepts in Kaew Kao’s Novel

This paper aims to analyze the Buddhist concepts and practices in 29 of Kaew Kao’s novels. The study found that Kaew Kao clearly presented these Buddhist concepts through conversations and other 4 methods namely character building, presentation through scenes, flashback stories and presentation through story titles. These presentation methods has made Kaew Kao’s novels fascinating and has showed the author ability to incorporate the Dharma principles into own imagination. Thesen qualities have enabled Kaew Kao work to become outstanding work in terms of entertainment that includes an insertion of Buddhist concepts.The Buddhist concept presentation in Kaew Kao novels showed that the Dharma principles are rooted in Buddhist ways of life. Moreover, they are also important factors that determine thoughts and beliefs of Thai people. Therefore, reading novels as fiction is a way to appreciate the pleasure and to conceive Dharma principles reflected in novels.
