วัตถุประสงค์: งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนากรอบโครงสร้างการบรรยายรายละเอียดภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์
วิธีการศึกษา: รวบรวมข้อมูลกระบวนการจัดเก็บและสืบค้นภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์จากเจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์ข้อมูลข่าวโทรทัศน์ จำนวน 36 คน และผู้ใช้ภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์จำนวน 19 คน จากสถานีโทรทัศน์ 2 แห่ง โดย
การสัมภาษณ์และการสังเกต ทำการวิเคราะห์พฤติกรรมการสืบค้นข้อมูลและความต้องการของผู้ใช้ตามกรอบแนวคิดของ IFLA Five Generic User Tasks พัฒนากรอบโครงสร้างคำบรรยายภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์
ตามกรอบแนวคิด การกำหนดรายละเอียดในการบรรยายทรัพยากรสารสนเทศของ IFLA Library Reference Model (IFLA-LRM) และทำการประเมินความเหมาะสมของโครงสร้างคำบรรยายที่พัฒนาขึ้นโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ จำนวน 6 คน
ข้อค้นพบ: ผลการวิจัย พบว่า เจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์ข้อมูลข่าวโทรทัศน์ได้นำหลักการวิเคราะห์ข่าว 5W1H มาใช้ในการบรรยายรายละเอียดภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์เพื่อให้ตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ใช้ภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์
และพบว่า มีการใช้ข้อมูล 15 กลุ่มหลัก ในการสืบค้นภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์ โดยผู้ใช้จะเริ่มต้นการสืบค้นภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์ด้วยคำที่เฉพาะเจาะจง ขณะที่เจ้าหน้าที่จะสืบค้นด้วย ชื่อเฉพาะ คำที่เฉพาะเจาะจง และคำ
ที่กว้างขึ้นมาหนึ่งระดับ กรอบโครงสร้างสำหรับบรรยายรายละเอียดภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์ที่พัฒนาขึ้นประกอบด้วย 8 องค์ประกอบหลัก 36 องค์ประกอบย่อย ผลการประเมินโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญพบว่า มีความครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ เหมาะสมสำหรับบรรยายรายละเอียดและการสืบค้นภาพข่าวโทรทัศน์ ชื่อองค์ประกอบภาษาไทยและชื่อองค์ประกอบภาษาอังกฤษความชัดเจนในระดับดีมาก ค่าเฉลี่ย 4.67 และ 4.33 ส่วนนิยามและตัวอย่าง ของแต่ละองค์ประกอบมีความชัดเจน เข้าใจง่ายในระดับดี (ค่าเฉลี่ย 4.17) หลังปรับแก้ตามข้อเสนอแนะ ของผู้เชี่ยวชาญ มี 9 องค์ประกอบหลัก และ 31 องค์ประกอบย่อย รวมทั้งสิ้น 40 องค์ประกอบ
การประยุกต์ใช้จากการศึกษานี้: สามารถใช้เป็นกรอบแนวคิดในการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบของรายการบรรณานุกรมหรือองค์ประกอบเมทาดาทาที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการบรรยายสารสนเทศดิจิทัลที่สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการในการสืบค้นสารสนเทศ ตามกระบวนการสืบค้นสารสนเทศของผู้ใช้
