The concept of the cultural heritage information began in 1990 after the UNESCO’s ratification of the global convention on cultural heritage having cultural repository institutions for collecting, storing and servicing cultural heritage information. This paper presents the cultural heritage concept, definitions and scopes ofcultural heritage information, its classification and research issues
