ความพร้อมสำหรับแรงงานสูงวัยในอุตสาหกรรมโรงแรมของจังหวัดภูเก็ต ประเทศไทย: มุมมองของบุคคลากรฝ่ายทรัพยากรบุคคล

บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจข้อได้เปรียบและข้อเสียของการจ้างงานให้กับผู้สูงวัย เพื่อสำรวจโอกาสและข้อจำกัดของงานของพวกเขา และเพื่อประเมินความพร้อมในการจ้างงานสำหรับผู้สูงวัยในอุตสาหกรรมโรงแรมมาจากมุมมองของบุคลากรทรัพยากรบุคคล การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพนี้ใช้การสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้าง บุคคลากรฝ่ายทรัพยากรบุคคลจากโรงแรมต่าง ๆ ในภูเก็ต จำนวนสิบรายถูกเลือกในการทำวิจัยนี้โดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง ผลการศึกษาชี้ให้เห็นถึงโอกาสในการจ้างงานที่จำกัดสำหรับผู้สูงวัยเนื่องจากพลังงานของร่างกายลดลง ความยืดหยุ่นลดลง และค่าใช้จ่ายเพิ่มขึ้น อย่างไรก็ตาม โรงแรมที่มีประสบการณ์การดำเนินงานยาวนานมีแนวโน้มที่สูงขึ้นในการจ้างงานแรงงานสูงวัย การศึกษานี้เสนอว่านโยบายจากภาครัฐและบทบาทเฉพาะที่ได้เปรียบจากการใช้ประสบการณ์ของผู้สูงวัยอาจเสริมสร้างโอกาสในการหางานที่ดีขึ้น นอกจากนี้ การศึกษานี้ยังเสนอผลกระทบ ข้อจำกัดของการศึกษา และทิศทางสำหรับการวิจัยในอนาคต
