As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • A set of manuscript may not be longer than 15 pages, using A4 paper size
  • The article must be written in Microsoft Word using a defined font of Browallia New .
  • Articles must provide an abstract with 200 words or less, and be written in both Thai and English. It must include the title of the article, name, and surname of the author. 3-5 key words are the maximum.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, and PDF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The author accepts the consideration of the article and is pleased to be evaluated by reviewer. (Peer review), including the agreement to update/edit the article according to the recommendations of the reviewers and as the editorial team deems appropriate.
  • This article is the work of author and the co-authors (if any) according to the name specified in the article. And all authors agree to publish this article in the journal. Include the name of the author and everyone's email address at the post submission metadata in the system.
  • The author specifies the contact address and contact phone number in the text box to the editor,
  • Have the author submit the original article. The format of the article must follow the guidelines for preparing the original article and submitting the article specified by the journal only. (In case the article does not conform to the journal format The editorial department may not consider)

1. Preparation of Manuscript

     1.1 Article specifications

          1.1.1 An article must conform to the aim and scope of the Journal.

          1.1.2 The article must be written either in Thai or English.  It must not have been previously published and must fall under one of the following disciplines: humanities and social sciences, education, economics, or business administration and management.  If written in English, it should be proof-read by a native speaker before submission.

          1.1.3 It must be written in Microsoft Word using a defined font of Browallia New.

          1.1.4 It may be between 10 and 15 pages, using A4 paper size.

          1.1.5 It must provide an abstract of no longer than 200 words, and be written in both Thai and English.  It must include the title of the article, name, and surname of the author, and keywords of between three and five.

          1.1.6 Name and surname, a highest degree, an academic title (if applicable), an institution, and an email-address of the author must also be included.

 

     1.2 Page Lay Out Setting

          1.2.1 A4 paper size must be corresponded.

          1.2.2 Single space must be used.

          1.2.3 Upper, lower margins must be 2.54 centimeters or 1 inch.  Left and right margins must be 1.78 centimeters or 0.7 inch.

 

     1.3 Font Style

     The article must be written in Microsoft Word using a defined font of Browallia New.

     1.4 Citation

          1.4.1 Author-date in-text citation must be placed after the sentence thereof that the citation supports, which includes the author’s name, year of publication, and page number (s).  For example:

          ... (Newman & Cullen, 2012, p. 12) …

          ... (Newman & Cullen, 2012, pp. 12-15) …

          1.4.2 APA (American Psychological Association, 7th Edition) must be applied, which is accompanied by a full, alphabetized list of citation in an end section, usually titled “References” in English.  For example:

2. Article Submission

     One set of document can be submitted throughout the year in both *.docx and *.pdf formats to Editorial Board of Journal of International Studies, Prince of Songkla University at https://so03.tci-thaijo.org/index.php

 3. Payment of the Submission Fee

     3.1 The submission fee must be paid for manuscript submission. The fees are as follows:

          3.1.1 No submission fee for anyone who is affiliated with the Faculty of International Studies, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (if he or she is the first author or a corresponding author)

          3.1.2 3,500 THB (article in Thai)/ 6,000 THB (article in English) for those who are either affiliated with or outside Prince of Songkla University.

          3.1.3 There will be no refund after the payment.

     3.2 All fees should be transferred to:

Remarks:  Payment of submission fee does not guarantee publication of an article.  Each article must be reviewed by reviewers and the Editorial Board.  Result will be informed after the peer-review process. There will be no refund regardless of the results.

4. Review Process

     4.1 Submitted articles will be initially reviewed by the editorial board.

     4.2 They will then be reviewed and considered by at least three academics in related fields. This is a double-blind peer review process.
