Cost of Production of Jasmine Rice by Farmers from the Use of Agrochemicals in Rasi Salai District, Sisaket Province

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to study the costs of producing jasmine rice for farmers from the use of agrochemicals and the farmers' adaptation methods for controlling production costs. The sample group consisted of 50 rice growers in Dan Subdistrict, Rasi Salai District, Sisaket Province, and 12 academics and leaders. This was a mixed-method research using in-depth interviews and Structured interview Quantitative data was analyzed using statistics to find averages and percentages. The qualitative side used content analysis. The results found that the average cost was 5,777.20 baht per rai, with variable costs. highest average is the price of production equipment in the amount of 1,913.63 baht per rai, calculated as 33.12 percent, especially the use of agricultural chemicals, consisting of chemical fertilizer costs, pesticide costs, with an average cost per rai of 570.56 baht, while fixed costs are equipment depreciation in the amount of 956.82 baht per rai, calculated It is 16.56 percent. The farmers' adjustment guidelines for controlling production costs were found that when the cost of rice production is high Farmers therefore find ways to reduce production costs, such as making compost, processing rice, and preparing income and expense accounts. Creating a network to exchange knowledge and distribute products.
