Transfering Processes of Wisdom in Phasin Thiw Mook Jok Dao Weaving based on the Ubon Ratchathani City Court Style

Abstract
The processes of wisdom transfer for weaving Phasin Thiw Mook Jok Dao base on Ubon Ratchathani City Court Style were developed by a group of elderly women in Nong Bo village, Ubon Ratchathani Province, and these woment have passed on the weaving wisdom. If type of sarong weaving was not passed on, this wisdom might be lost. The participants consisted of elderly women. Data was collected through group discussions, interviews, and recorded brainstorming sessions. Content analysis was used to analyze the data obtained. The research results showed that a lack of successors in the art of silk weaving was found in the research area. Regarding this, all involved parties shared a mutual understanding of the situation, and they set the clear objectives together for transferring the weaving wisdom. Consequently, these processes were developed and tried out with 16 students of the Faculty of Education. It was found that their knowledge, attitudes, and skills before and after using these processes were significantly different at the statistical level of .01. In addition, the two processes were found: 1) wisdom transfer was demonstrated by expert elderly, and learners practiced the weaving skills by themselves. 2) For recording knowledge in a writing form, the results were summarized and reported by organizing a forum in order to return information to the community and to disseminate it via the community networks.
