Guidelines for Tourism Promotion Affected by Coronavirus Epidemic via Performing Arts: A Case Study of Khon Krung Si of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

            This academic article aimed to portray the guidelines of organizing activities to promote tourism affected by COVID epidemic in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province via performing arts entitled Khon Krung Si activity. The data were collected by systematic interviews and using digital media. The event, entitled Khon Krung Si supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, was held after the coronavirus epidemic using performing arts to run the activity. Khon Krung Si took place during September 4-6, 2020 with the flowing of 52,000,000 baht spent throughout three days of the event, and with 2,310,000 people accessing the project public relations through Khon, Thai cultural performing arts, as the main activity.
