Development of Family Readiness Preparation Program for Youth in the Upper Northern Region

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study 1) occupancy of people in the upper northern region, and 2) development of family readiness preparation program for youth in the upper northern region. The results of the study were as follows. 1) Occupancy of people in the upper northern region were family uses items in the house such as TVs, refrigerators, air conditioners, fans, and various electrical appliances to make the most, families have to prepare household accounts and family members are love and caring and helping each other. 2) Family readiness preparation program for youth in the upper northern region have results of the program trial are as follows: 2.1) Students had knowledge and understanding after attending the pre-family training course higher than before training Statistical significance at the level of .05. 2.2) Students have knowledge, skills, and attitudes while attending pre-family training courses accounting for 75.47 percent. Students had knowledge while attending the pre - family training course with an average of 26.08 points. Students have skills while attending pre-family preparation courses with an average of 23.77 points. And students had attitudes while attending the pre-family training course with an average of 25.62 points.
