Scenario of Auto Leasing Business Management in Northeastern Thailand from 2019 to 2029

Abstract
The objective of this mixed-method research were to study the scenario of auto leasing business management in the northeast of Thailand from 2019 to 2029. A questionnaire was employed for data collection in a quantitative study and the collected data were analyzed for percentage, mean, and standard deviation. On the other hand, interview and EDFR techniques were employed to gain in-depth information about the auto leasing business management to be used as the foundation for a preparation of scenario visions in a qualitative study.
The study found that: 1) the credit consideration process – the study revealed that the auto leasing business does not have a database concerning the occupation of customers covering all regions of the country; 2) the marketing and strategic process – the study showed that the auto leasing business has rules and procedures that must be approved in several steps; therefore, it is causing the operation of the organization to be delayed; 3) the operational process – the study indicated that, at present, the auto leasing business does not have an agency to study, review and evaluate the performance of the business; and 4) the debt management process – the study showed that the auto leasing business still lacks flexibility in debt collection.
According to the scenario of auto leasing business management in the northeast of Thailand from 2019 to 2029, the study showed that: 1) the credit consideration process – in the future, the auto leasing business must provide more customer database systems and use an artificial intelligence technology in the credit consideration process; 2) the marketing and strategic process – in the future, the auto leasing business will change its perspective to primarily focus on doing business with customers. It is considered as an analyzing of the behavior or way of life and needs according to the path of consumers in each age group. Further, the auto leasing business must develop a mobile operating system to enable customers to know the market information; 3) the operational process – in the future, the database system must be placed for the auto leasing business management and the artificial intelligence technology must be used In the operating process; and 4) the debt management process – in the future, the debt collection process will be replaced by the AI technology.
