Leadership of the Student Leader of Surindra Rajabhat University

Abstract
This quantitative study aimed 1) to study the leadership of Surindra Rajabhat University student leaders, 2) to compare the leadership of Surindra Rajabhat University student leaders classified by faculties, and 3) to investigate suggestions on the development of student leaders of Surindra Rajabhat University.
A questionnaire of .95 reliability was responded by 385 Surindra Rajabhat University students. Data was analysed by content validity, Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and F-test. The results were as follows:
- The overall leadership of Surindra Rajabhat University student leaders was at a high level. In detail, the aspects of creative leadership, spiritual leadership, and servicing leadership were ordered from most to least respectively.
- The comparison of opinions towards leader students’ leadership classified by faculties revealed that students of each faculty had significantly different opinions towards creative leadership, servicing leadership, spiritual leadership, and authentic leadership at .05.
- Concerning suggestions towards the development of the leadership of student leaders, for the aspect of creative leadership student leaders must possess creativeness, expressing confidence, positive thinking, continuous self-adjusting, positive attitude for ones' organizations, high-intended work commitment, and quality-oriented workmanship. For the aspect of servicing leadership they must possess self-identity, well-mannered quality, pleasant humanity, willing to listen to others’ opinions, reconciliation quality and the quality of being proper examples for other students. For the aspect of spiritual leadership, moral principles and ethics must be possessed. Honest and justice must be practiced whole-heartedly without bias. Patience, hard working and sacrificing sense must be included. For the aspect of authentic leadership, the student leaders must be developed in terms of leader development, moral disciplines and ethics; and creativeness and knowledge must be added for their benefits which will result in more proficiency of their leading duties thereafter.
