Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study guidelines for adaptation strategy to transformation in digital economy of Thailand power generation industry. The population is management of the Power Generation Industry in Thailand. Sample size is 384 persons. SPSS program is used to statistical analysis with statistical significance at the level of 0.05.

The results showed that most people are males, aged 30-40 years, bachelor’s degree education, income less than 30,000 Baht and 5-10 years working experience. Type of business limited company, the owner/shareholder is a Thai, personnel 100 to 300 people and business period is more than 11-15 years. The opinions about adaptation strategy to transformation in digital economy of Thailand power generation industry in overall are a high level. Classifying by that resource management, market orientation, knowledge management and technology digital management are importance.

The comparison of differences by personal status found that the gender, age, education, monthly income and work experience were no difference. The comparison of differences by nature of business, found that owner/shareholder and business period were no difference. Business type and personnel statistically significant difference at the level of 0.05.
