Abstract


This research was to study the level of participation of the people in villages in Don Chomphu Sub-district, Non Sung District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and to compare participation of the people in villages in Don Chomphu Sub-district, Non Sung district, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The data was classified based on individual requirements which were quantitative research. The research instrument was an interview which was by means of random sampling from 18 observers, the remaining 6,286 people from 13 villages in Don Chomphu Sub-district, Non Sung District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The samples were 376 people which were as follows: 33 people from Ban Don Chomphu, 46 people from Ban Som, 29 people from Ban Mara, 25 people from Ban Saphuan, 40 people from Ban Donree, 29 people from Ban Muang Tee, 50 people from Ban Plo Por Lor, 28 people from Ban Srisuk, 20 people Ban Don Tabang, 39 people from Ban Don Chompoo Pattana, 14 people from Ban Chok, 12 people from Ban Mitrapap, and 11 people Ban San Suk. The data was analyzed as the overall descriptive statistics by means of percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The statistics used in the hypothesis was t-test and F-test, one-way ANOVA.


The results revealed the participation of the people in village development in Don Chomphu Subdistrict, Non Sung District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province was at a high level. When considering the aspects of the participation in village development, it can be summarized from the most to the least of participation as follows: 1) natural resources and environment, 2) quality of life and society, 3) infrastructure utilities and public utilities, 4) politics, administration and services, 5) economics and agriculture. The comparative results of the participation of people in village development in Don Chomphu Subdistrict, Non Sung District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province classified by personal factors were found that sex, age, occupation and length of time living in the village were statistically significant differences in participation in the development of different villages.
