ทุนทางวัฒนธรรมกับการสร้างบทละครประวัติศาสตร์ในประเพณีขึ้นเขาพนมรุ้ง; Cultural Capital used for Creating Historical Plays in the Phanom Rung Mountain Festival

Abstract

                   บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิธีคิดในการนำทุนทางวัฒนธรรมมาสร้างบทละครประวัติศาสตร์ ในประเพณีขึ้นเขาพนมรุ้งในเชิงคติชนวิทยา  ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวด้านการแสดงประกอบแสงเสียงเพื่อบอกเล่าเรื่องราวของปราสาทพนมรุ้ง มีวิธีคิดในการสร้างบทละครโดยนำข้อมูลจากจารึก  โดยนำพระนามหรือชื่อต่าง ๆ มาสร้างเป็นตัวละคร  ได้แก่ พระนามพระนางภูปตินทรลักษมีเทวี  พระนามนเรนทราทิตย์  พระนามหิรัณยะ  นางจริยา และนางสุรภี  และยังมีการนำข้อมูลดังกล่าวมาสร้างเป็นลักษณะเด่น ของตัวละครและเหตุการณ์สำคัญ เพื่อเรียงร้อยเป็นโครงเรื่อง  นอกจากนี้ยังมีการนำข้อสันนิษฐานทางประวัติศาสตร์มาสร้างเป็นจุดสำคัญสูงสุด (Climax) อีกด้วย วิธีการสร้างบทละครดังกล่าวจึงทำให้ละครมีความสมจริง  สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความสามารถในการนำ “วัตถุดิบ ” ต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องด้านประวัติศาสตร์โบราณคดีมาสร้างให้เกิดมูลค่าในการท่องเที่ยว

                                                                                   Abstract

          This article aims to analyze the way of presenting the cultural capital used in historical plays in the Phanom Rung mountain festival. The plays aforementioned were a tourist attraction, consisted of light and sound performances which told the history of Phanom Rung Castle. According to the results of this study, the reason of these plays was based on historical information, that is, the creators drew fictional characters after historical personages or information from ancient inscriptions. For example, the names of Bhūpatīndralakṣmī, Narendrādityā, Hiraṇya, Jariya and Surabhi. This information was also infused into the main traits of each character or significant events that became the main plot of the plays. Furthermore, some historical hypotheses were incorporated into the plays’ climax, making it more realistic while reflecting the creators’ ability to add tourism-promoting value to the historical data.
