A STUDY OF GUIDELINES FOR LINKING FINGERPRINT DATABASES BETWEEN THE BUREAU OF REGISTRATION ADMINISTRATION AND CRIMINAL RECORDS

Abstract

This research aimed to study the format and procedure for scanning the following prints in the following requirements of the Bureau of Treasury government agency and the Criminal Records Division, source code. It is a qualitative research, the sample is officers from the office of Registration Administration and officers from the Criminal Records Division. The results showed that Forms and procedures for collecting fingerprints for registration of the Department of Provincial Administration is ID card registration, Civil registration, Personal registration and Family registration Programs used are ENROLL program and Application Thailand Foreign Workers Card Check. Criminal Records Division National Police Agency Collect fingerprints of suspects and unnatural deaths as well as collecting fingerprints of people in both government and private sectors the program used is (Automated Fingerprint Identification System: AFIS) and Microsoft access package program. Linking the fingerprint information of both agencies, currently issuing a driver's license to the public. Issuing medical identification cards at the hospital Able to read history and fingerprints of citizens via Smart Card from Driver Reader.
