GUIDELINES FOR INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF DITTHADHAMMIKATTHA OF OPPORTUNITY EXPANSION SCHOOLS UNDER THE OFFICE OF PHRA NAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 2

Abstract

The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to study the state of Internal Quality Assurance in educational institutions of opportunity expansion schools under the office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area 2, 2) to study methods for Internal Quality Assurance according to the Principles of Diṭṭhadhammikattha of opportunity expansion schools under the office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area 2, and 3) to propose the guidelines for Internal Quality Assurance according to the Principles of Ditthadhammikattha of opportunity expansion schools under the office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area 2. The mixed research methods were used in the study. The quantitative data were collected by questionnaires from 96 samples consisting of teachers and school administrators responsible for Internal Quality Assurance and analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The qualitative data were collected by in-depth interviews with 5 key-informants and then analyzed by content analysis. The results of the study found that; 1) The state of Internal Quality Assurance in educational institutions of opportunity expansion schools under the office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area 2 was at a high level overall. 2) The methods for Internal Quality Assurance according to the Principles of Diṭṭhadhammikattha of opportunity expansion schools under the office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area 2 indicate that: (1) Internal Quality Control; To set vision and mission, to analyze and specify the role of personnel, to collect overall information about work operation, to follow the plan, to set teamwork for the action, to build collaborative atmosphere, to open for opinions and ideas, and to integrate with every sector,  (2) Checking, revising and improving; to find new knowledge for developing assurance personnel eagerly and regularly, to find guidelines for monitoring and evaluating internal quality assurance, to set timeframe and guidelines for internal quality assurance, to check the relevance of educational standard, to improve teaching plans, and to prepare documents and document files systematically, (3) Internal Quality Assurance; to develop the annual assurance results, to improve the results based on the steps of Internal Quality Assurance in Educational Institutions, to analyze the results of quality assurance, to set plans, activities and target for improvement, to train teachers and personnel with the required skills, and to build learning innovations for supporting academic skills and  general skills. 3) The guidelines for Internal Quality Assurance according to the Principles of Diṭṭhadhammikattha of opportunity expansion schools under the office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational  Service Area 2 were: (1) Internal Quality Control; to build collaborative atmosphere, to open for opinions and ideas, to integrate with every sector, to set vision and mission, to analyze and specify the role of personnel, and to set teamwork for the action, (2) Checking, revising and improving; to prepare documents and document files systematically, to find new knowledge for developing assurance personnel eagerly and regularly, to find guidelines for monitor and evaluating internal quality assurance, to check the relevance of educational standard, and to improve teaching plans, (3) Internal Quality Assurance; to develop the annual assurance results, to train teachers and personnel with the required skills, to build learning innovations for supporting academic skills and  general skills, to improve the assurance results based on the steps of Internal Quality Assurance in Educational Institutions, to analyze the results of quality assurance for further improvement.
