Author Guidelines
Original Text Typing
1. Articles’ or other references’ length is 15-20 A4 pages, It must be typed with Font TH SarabunPSK size 16. The paper arrangement should use the Thai Distributed style. Margins at the top, bottom, left and right are 1 Inches wide.
2. The page number is placed at the bottom-middle of each page from the beginning to the end.
3. Both Thai and English titles are required to be written in the middle of the page in 18 Point (Bold). The Thai title comes first, followed by the English title on the next line.
4. The writers’ names in both Thai and English are in 16 Point type, and placed two lines under the articles’ titles, to the right. The designations, affiliations, and addresses, are provided as footnotes.
5. 14 Point (Bold) is used for the titles and the numbers of the tables, and typed on the tables and to the right of the tables. The sources (if any) of the tables are provided under the tables.
6. Bold Font 14 Point is used for the titles and the numbers of both the figures and the charts, and typed under them. Both the figures and the charts are arranged in the middle of the pages. Beneath each figure and chart, sources are identified and arranged in the middle of the pages.
7. Reference style: The APA 7th edition (American Psychological Association Citation Style) is used to formatting the references.
Components of the Articles
Academic Articles:
The journal uses the same definition for “academic article” with that of the regulation of Chiang Mai University.
“Academic articles” is an academic writing which consists of a topic to be explained or discussed or examined in a clear manner. The examination must consist of the processes of reviewing literature, which shows why the topic is discussed or examined; systematically engaging with other academic resources in the examination; demonstrating the author’s academic opinion.
Research Articles:
The journal uses the same definition for “research article” with that of the regulation of Chiang Mai University.
“Research article” is defined as an article that consists of a systematic study or investigation using a research methodology that is acceptable in its own field. The article must clearly consist of a rationale or the purpose of study, which gives an idea how to obtain the research information, findings, or conclusion. The article must present the contribution to the study’s own academic field (in the case of fundamental research) or the utilisation of the research’s finding (in the case of applied research) or creative and artistic articulation of the study (in the case of creative research) or the development of tool or the development of process.
Reference Citation in Text
Chiang Mai University Journal of Humanities uses the APA 7th edition (American Psychological Association) Citation Style. Surnames of the writers must be appended with the year published and the page number of the citation. (Please see the announcement 'แจ้งการปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการจัดทำเอกสารอ้างอิง (References)')

Procedures and Evaluation
บทความที่จะได้รับการพิจารณาตีพิมพ์จะต้องผ่านกระบวนการพิจารณาจากกองบรรณาธิการและผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิในสาขาวิชาที่เกี่ยวข้อง (Peer Review) ดังนี้
1. ผู้เขียนลงทะเบียนเพื่อใช้งานระบบ Thaijo 2.0 เพื่อดำเนินการ ส่งบทความ และ “แบบฟอร์มเสนอบทความเพื่อพิจารณาการตีพิมพ์” (คลิกที่นี่) ทางออนไลน์ผ่านระบบ ที่ https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JHUMANS/submission
2. เมื่อกองบรรณาธิการได้รับบทความเรียบร้อยแล้ว กองบรรณาธิการจะแจ้งให้ผู้เขียนทราบโดยทันที
3. กองบรรณาธิการจะดำเนินการตรวจสอบบทความที่ได้รับว่าอยู่ในขอบเขตเนื้อหาวารสารหรือไม่ รวมถึงคุณภาพทางวิชาการและประโยชน์ ทั้งในเชิงทฤษฎีและปฏิบัติในเบื้องต้น และจะแจ้งผลการพิจารณาให้ผู้เขียนทราบภายใน 30-45 วัน
4. หลังจากพิจารณาเบื้องต้นแล้ว กองบรรณาธิการจะดำเนินการส่งบทความเพื่อกลั่นกรองต่อไป โดยจะส่งให้ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิในสาขาวิชาที่เกี่ยวข้อง อย่างน้อย 3 ท่าน ประเมินคุณภาพของบทความว่าอยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่เหมาะสมจะลงตีพิมพ์หรือไม่ ซึ่งกระบวนการกลั่นกรองนี้ทั้งผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิและผู้เขียนจะไม่ทราบข้อมูลซึ่งกันและกัน (Double-blind peer review) โดยใช้เวลาพิจารณาประมาณ 20-40 วัน
5. เมื่อผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิประเมินบทความแล้ว กองบรรณาธิการจะตัดสินการพิจารณาโดยอิงตามข้อเสนอแนะของผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิว่าบทความนั้นๆ ควรนำลงตีพิมพ์ หรือควรส่งให้ผู้เขียนแก้ไขก่อนส่งให้ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิประเมินอีกครั้ง หรือปฏิเสธการตีพิมพ์ และจะแจ้งผลการพิจารณาของผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิให้ผู้เขียนรับทราบ ภายในระยะเวลา 15 วัน นับตั้งแต่วันที่ได้รับผลการพิจารณา โดยผลการพิจารณาของผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิดังกล่าวถือเป็นที่สิ้นสุด
