       2. To encourage and support research conducted to achieve excellence in the humanities

Article Considerations Policy 

        1. The scope of the academic content of the Journal of Humanities includes the content of interdisciplinary subjects of both the humanities and social science in matters such as Religion and Theology, Philosophy and Ethics, History and Memory Studies, Archeology, Heritage Studies, Museum Studies, Language, Linguistics, Literature, Media Studies, Translation, Creative Writing Studies, Psychology, Library and Information Sciences, Archival Studies, Arts and Aesthetics. It also publishes articles from Tourism Studies, Area and Community Studies, Cross- and Inter-disciplinary Studies, which are related to or focus on issues or problems in the Humanities. The journal welcomes the following article formats: Research articles or originals, Academic articles, Review articles, and book reviews under the condition that they have not been published in journals, meeting agendas, or any other kinds of publication (except research reports or theses), and are not waiting to be published in other journals. We accept articles in Thai, English, and other foreign languages.

       2. The article proposed will be considered as to whether its content follows the requirements, the quality of its academic value have to peer review by expertist 3 people and editor [as effective B.E. 2564 (2021) onwards] 

       3. The author must comply with the conditions and The author will adjust the editorial staff to amend the article as the last step before publication.

Procedures and Evaluation

Articles to be considered for publication must undergo a pre-screen review by the editorial board and a review process by experts in the relevant field (Peer Review) as follows:

  1. The author must register to use the ThaiJO 2.0 system to submit the "Article" and the "Article Submission Form for Publication Consideration" online via the system at https://www.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JHUMANS/submission.

  2. Once the editorial board receives the article, they will immediately notify the author.
  3. The editorial board will check whether the article falls within the scope of the journal's content, as well as its academic quality and usefulness, both theoretically and practically. The author will be notified of the initial review result within 45-60 days.
  4. The editorial board will forward the article for reviewing by at least three experts in the relevant field to evaluate whether the article meets the standards for publication. This review process will be conducted using a double-blind peer review (where neither the reviewers nor the authors know each other's identities) and will take approximately 20-40 days.
  5. After the experts have reviewed the article, the editorial board will make a decision based on the reviewers' recommendations regarding whether the article should be published, sent back to the author for revisions and re-evaluation, or rejected for publication. The author will be notified of the review results within 15 days from the date of receiving the review outcome. The decision based on the reviewers' feedback is final.
