การสร้างความหมายเกี่ยวกับ“แม่ย่านางเรือ”ของชาวประมงพื้นบ้านจังหวัดสงขลา

บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาถึงการสร้างความหมายเกี่ยวกับแม่ย่านางเรือของชาวประมงพื้นบ้านจังหวัดสงขลา โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) ในลักษณะของทฤษฎีฐานราก (Grounded Theory) เข้ามาทำความเข้าในปรากฎการณ์  ผลการศึกษาการสร้างความหมายเกี่ยวกับแม่ย่านางเรือของชาวประมงพื้นบ้านจังหวัดสงขลา ในความเชื่อของชาวประมงพื้นบ้านจังหวัดสงขลา “แม่ย่านางเรือ” คือสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่เป็นสัมภเวสีคอยปกป้องรักษาต้นไม้ภายในป่าปกป้องรักษาคนดีที่นำต้นไม้ในป่ามาสร้างเรือและเป็นที่พึ่งทางใจเวลาชาวประมงออกทะเล นอกจากในด้านความปลอดภัยแล้วยังมีในเรื่องของการบนบานศาลกล่าวให้จับปลาและสัตว์น้ำ ลักษณะของแม่ย่านางในความเชื่อของชาวประมงพื้นบ้านจังหวัดสงขลา ถูกกำหนดให้มีลักษณะเป็นผู้หญิงหรือเป็นสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่มองไม่เห็น ทำหน้าที่คอยปกป้องคุ้มครองเจ้าของเรือและผู้ที่มีความเชื่อในแม่ย่านางเรือ แสดงให้เห็นถึงการปรับตัวระหว่างความเชื่อในท้องถิ่นกับศาสนาได้อย่างผสมผสานลงตัวเพราะผู้ที่มีความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับแม่ย่านางเรือต้องประกอบพิธีกรรมในการเคารพบูชา ซึ่งการจะมีวิธีการประกอบพิธีกรรมแตกต่างกันไปตามความเชื่อของแต่ละคน แต่สิ่งหนึ่งที่ชาวประมงพื้นบ้านพึงระลึกและปฎิบัติคือต้องเป็นคนดีมีความประพฤติที่ดี เพราะอิทธิพลจากความเชื่อที่ว่าสิ่งศักดิ์จะอยู่และคอยคุ้มครองเจ้าของเรือที่เป็นคนดี

 ABSTRACT

This study aims to study the meaning about the boat nymph of local fishermen in Songkhla by means of qualitative research (Qualitative Research) in the manner of theoretical foundations (Grounded Theory) came up to the present. event The study of meaning about the boat nymph fishermen Songkhla. The belief of traditional fishermen in Songkhla. the boat nymph is a ghost the trees in the forest preserve, protect good people who put the tree in the forest to build a boat and a spiritual refuge for fishermen out at sea. In addition to safety, there is the matter of the oath to fish and aquatic life. The nature of the figurehead of the tenets of traditional fishermen in Songkhla. Is set to have a woman as sacred or invisible.The boat nymph duties are to protect ship owners and those who have faith in the ship figurehead. Demonstrating adaptation between local religious beliefs were a perfect combination for those who have faith figurehead on a ship must rites of worship. This is how the rituals vary according to the beliefs of each person. But one thing to remember fishermen and practice is a good man with good conduct. Because of the influence of the belief that what is sacred and to protect ship owners are nice people.
