ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสมรรถนะหลักด้านการใช้สารสนเทศกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน ของนักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสวนดุสิต

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาระดับสมรรถนะหลักด้านการใช้สารสนเทศของนักศึกษา ระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสวนดุสิต และศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสมรรถนะหลักด้านการใช้สารสนเทศกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสวนดุสิต  กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา ภาคสมทบ ปีที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2550 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสวนดุสิต จำนวน 95 คน โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างอย่างง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลคือแบบทดสอบ โดยยึดมาตรฐานสมรรถนะหลักด้านการรู้สารสนเทศในระดับอุดมศึกษาพัฒนาโดยสมาคมห้องสมุดวิทยาลัยและการวิจัยแห่งสหรัฐอเมริกาของสมาคมห้องสมุดอเมริกัน มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นตามวิธีของ KR20 เท่ากับ .941 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน

ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้

1. นักศึกษามีสมรรถนะหลักด้านการใช้สารสนเทศโดยเฉลี่ยรวมทุกด้านในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า สมรรถนะหลักด้านการใช้สารสนเทศในด้านความสามารถในการเข้าถึงสารสนเทศด้านความสามารถในการประเมินสารสนเทศ และด้านความสามารถในการใช้สารสนเทศ มีสมรรถนะหลักด้านการใช้สารสนเทศทุกด้านในระดับปานกลาง

2. สมรรถนะหลักด้านการใช้สารสนเทศ มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the level of core competency in information usage of the graduate students at Suan Dusit Rajabhat University and the relationships between the use of information and the students’ academic achievement. Simple random sampling was applied to draw a sample of 95 part-time graduate students who were studying in the second semester of their second year in the academic year 2007. A test was developed as an instrument for data collection. The test was based on Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education, which was developed by the Association of College and Research Libraries in the American Library Association. The reliability of the test was .941 using KR 20. Data were analyzed using percentage, means, standard deviation and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.

The study reported the following findings:

1. The students were found to be at the moderate level of the core competency in their use of information. In examining each aspect, it was found that the student’s capability of accessing, evaluating and using information was at the moderate level.

2. The core competency in information usage had positive relationships with students’ academic achievement at the significant level of .01.
