ทัศนะของนิสิตแพทย์ต่อการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตร คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบทัศนะของนิสิตแพทย์ ระดับปริญญาตรี่ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2553 จำนวน 350 คน ต่อการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตร คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒใน 5 ด้าน คือ ด้านวิชาการ ด้านกีฬาและการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ด้านบำเพ็ญประโยชน์และรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม ด้านนันทนาการ และด้านส่งเสริมศิลปวัฒธรรม  เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามแบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าความเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบที การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบทางเดียว และการทดสอบความแตกต่างเป็นรายคู่โดยวิธีการของเชฟเฟ่ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นิสิตแพทย์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ มีทัศนะต่อการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตร โดยรวมมีความเหมาะสมในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่าด้านกีฬาและการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ด้านบำเพ็ญประโยชน์และรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม และด้านส่งเสริมศิลปวัฒนธรรม มีความเหมาะสมในระดับปานกลาง ส่วนด้านวิชาการ ด้านนันทนาการมีความเหมาะสมในระดับมาก  จากการศึกษาพบว่านิสิตแพทย์ชายและนิสิตแพทย์หญิงมีทัศนะต่อการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตร โดยรวมแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่าด้านกีฬาและการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ และด้านนันทนาการที่นิสิตแพทย์มีทัศนะแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05  นิสิตแพทย์ที่ศึกษาอยู่ในชั้นปีที่ศึกษาต่างกัน มีทัศนะต่อการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตรโดยรวมแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และเมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ด้านวิชาการไม่พบแตกต่างกัน ส่วนด้านกีฬาและส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ด้านบำเพ็ญประโยชน์และรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม ด้านนันทนาการ และด้านส่งเสริมศิลปวัฒนธรรม ที่นิสิตแพทย์มีทัศนะแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05  นิสิตแพทย์ที่มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนที่แตกต่างกันมีทัศนะต่อการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตร โดยรวมและเป็นรายด้านไม่แตกต่างกัน  นิสิตแพทย์ที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตรแบบบังคับและตามความสนใจ และเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเฉพาะบังคับมีทัศนะต่อการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตร โดยรวมและเป็นรายด้านแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05  นอกจากนี้พบว่านิสิตแพทย์ที่เคยมีประสบการณ์และไม่เคยมีประสบการณ์ในตำแหน่งประธานหรือกรรมการสโมสรนิสิตมีทัศนะต่อการจัดกิจกรรมเสริมหลักสูตร โดยรวมและเป็นรายด้านไม่แตกต่างกัน

Abstract

The purposes of this research were twofold. The first was to study undergraduate medical students’ perceptions towards extracurricular activities of the Faculty of Medicine at Srinakharinwirot University in five aspects which included academic, sports and health care, community services and environmental protection, recreation, and art and culture support. The second was to compare these aspects according to students’ genders, educational levels, academic achievements, participation types, and activity experiences. A sample of 350 was randomly selected from a population of medical students enrolling in the Faculty of Medicine in the academic year 2010. The instrument used for collecting data was a five-point Likert-type rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used included mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance and Scheffe’s method.

The results revealed that the medical students’ overall perceptions towards extracurricular activities at Srinakharinwirot University were appropriate at the moderate level. Considering each aspect, it was found that the sports and health care and community services and environmental protection as well as arts and culture support were moderately appropriate while the academic and recreational aspects were highly appropriate.  Male and female students had significantly different perceptions at the 0.5 level. When comparing each aspect, there were significant differences on the aspects of sports and health care as well as recreation. Students with different educational levels had significantly different perceptions at the 0.5 level. Considering each aspect, the different perceptions were on the aspects of sports and health care, community services and environmental protection, recreation and arts and culture support, but there was no difference on the aspect of academics. There were no significant differences among students with different academic achievements. The medical students who participated in extracurricular activities both compulsorily and voluntarily had significantly different perceptions on the overall and each aspect at the .05 level. There was no significant difference between the perceptions of the students with or without experiences associated to the positions of Chairman or Committee of the Student Union.
