The aim of this study was to investigate the outcomes of learning with the Future
Problem Solving Process towards the global awareness of the 12 gifted and talented
students in Science and Mathematics in grade 8 and 9 who learned with Future Problem
Solving Process. A team of researchers collected data with a checklist for the global
awareness, and an assessment form for the global awareness. Mean, standard deviation
(S), and content analysis were used to analyze data. The findings indicated that the gifted
and talented students who learned with Future Problem Solving Process hold global
awareness in the dimension of perspective consciousness, state of the planet awareness,
cross-cultural awareness, and awareness of human choices at a high level almost all
indicators. For the dimension of knowledge of global dynamics, it was at a moderate level
of all indicators.
