Change in Publication Fee and New Proofreading Policy

Effective January 1, 2027, newly submitted manuscripts will no longer be subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC).

For manuscripts accepted for publication, authors will be required to have their manuscripts proofread before publication. Authors may choose to use the JMSS in-house proofreading service at a fee of 5,000 THB or 150 USD per manuscript.

Alternatively, authors may use a recognized external language-editing service and submit an English Language Editing Certificate or Proofreading Confirmation Form to the journal after their manuscripts have been accepted for publication. In this case, the journal’s in-house proofreading service will not be required.

If the Editorial Board considers that further language improvement is necessary, authors may be requested to undertake additional revisions before publication.

Please note that this policy applies to manuscripts submitted on or after January 1, 2027. Manuscripts submitted before this date will follow the existing policy.
