The Administration of Student Support System by School Administrators under The Office of Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area 3

Abstract
The objectives of this research article were: 1) to study the administration of the Student Support and Assistance System; 2) to compare the administration of the Student Support and Assistance System based on educational level, work experience, and school size; and 3) to examine recommendations for the administration of the Student Support and Assistance System. The sample consisted of 310 government teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire, with an overall reliability coefficient of 0.880. The statistical methods used for data analysis included mean, standard deviation, independent-samples t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA) using Scheffé’s post hoc test.
The findings revealed that:
1) the management of the student support system both overall and in each aspect was at the highest level; 2) the comparison of the management of the student support system showed no significant difference across educational levels, work experience in the aspect of student prevention and problem-solving, and school size in the aspects of knowing students individually and student referral. The pairwise difference test showed significant differences in work experience between less than 5 years and 5-10 years, and small and medium school size at the significance level of .05. When classified by aspects, there were statistically differences at the significance level of .05 in two aspects: knowing students individually between medium and large sizes, and student referral within two pairs: small versus large and medium versus large; and 3) the recommendations regarding the management of the student support system most frequently identified in a descending order included: the aspect of knowing students individually, student screening, and student prevention and problem-solving.
