Abstract
This article aims to present The state and the strengthening of welfare state policies to reduce inequality in Thai society The fact that the Thai government has formulated a policy that supports the welfare state for the people towards a complete welfare state because it solves inequality. socio-economic status of citizens in the country Although the obstacles that must come with the benefits can not be avoided. and innovative state welfare measures to solve poverty problems in helping low-income people get out of from poverty to try to reduce the poverty gap for more equal distribution of income The government's policies in the past have focused on poverty alleviation policies. This has worked to some extent but has not really reduced the inequality because of the poor. Even with better conditions, the gap between the highest and lowest income has not been effectively bridged.
