Abstract

The aims of this research were: 1) to develop the three-dimensional virtual field trips model; 2) to evaluate knowledge after viewing the three-dimensional virtual field trips model; and 3) to evaluate audience’s satisfaction in the three-dimensional virtual field trips model. The sample group used in the research was 30 general students interested in the three- dimensional virtual field trips model that were selected by using convenience sampling to determine the quota of 18 years old. The research operation steps according to the 3P media production process consist of 3 steps as follows: 1) preparation for media production; 2) media production process; and 3) post media production. The data were collected by using the three-dimensional virtual field trip model of Khok Nong Na model for lowland areas, the suitability assessment (IOC), the knowledge test, the satisfaction questionnaires of the viewing. The data was analyzed and evaluated by using statistics included mean (x̄), percentage, and standard deviation (S.D.). The results contended that the knowledge of participants after watching the three-dimensional virtual field trips mode were higher than before watching at the significant level of 0.05, and the overall satisfaction of the three- dimensional virtual field trips model were evaluated at the highest level (x̄ = 4.68, S.D. = 0.55).
