Energy Security Strategy of Thailand: Industrial Sector

Abstract

Energy security is a challenge for many countries not even Thailand. Since energy is associated with the development of countries related to economic development. Including specific energy, because it has energy limit source. But while the consumer country is growing and there is a growing demand. Most energy consuming industries sector and the industrial sector is an important of economic development in the country. Energy is important as a factor. It was a cost of production in industry and to respond to economic development. Energy is a kind of infrastructure. It is a matter of security because of insufficient domestic energy sources and relate with foreign countries. This reflects energy security issues arising both from domestic factors and external factors. Therefore, Thailand must have a strategy and appropriate policies to support the country's energy security.
