Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with the objectives: 1. To study the success of the Elderly Act 2003 in the community of Sai Mai District, Bangkok 2. To analyze the factors related to the success of the Elderly Act 2003 in the case of Sai Mai district community area, Bangkok 3. To provide strategic suggestions and policies for the development of the elderly law in Thailand to be and to be used effectively and efficiently. Data collection is the use of in Depth Interview and Focus Group methods in the desired target group. Which take questions to the needs of the elderly, which are the real needs, which sometimes may not be in line with the Elderly Act, year 2003. The results of the research show that the elderly have the opinion that what Elderly Has been defined as an abstract which from the analysis of all 5 aspects, namely health, education, recreation In terms of housing and safety in life, it is found that older people have basic health needs in order to have a healthy body and to proactively implement public health policies in order to prevent illness. Elderly needs is the recreational aspect of having a society at the same age and the important thing that is discovered is a warm family that can To raise the quality of life of older people, whether they are physically and mentally demanding, because the elderly live with their family than the demand for money.
