People’s Opinion Toward the Behavior of Local Politicians in Local Administration Organization: Case Study of Northern Northeastern Central and Southern Regions

Abstract

The Objectives of this research were to study cause that effect behavior of local politician in local administration organization and the opinion of the people in northern northeastern central and southern regions as well as to offer the characteristics of local politicians correlated with the people. The sample consisted of 1189 people. Data were collected by using questionnaires. Statistics employed for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance and analysis of pearson chi-square. The level of statistical significance was set at 0.05 The research found out that background characteristic of the people of opinions difference in age, education level, career and region influenced the behavior of local politicians in the level of statistical significance at 0.05 except in sex did not difference in the level of statistical significance at 0.05. The characteristic of local politicians and corruption influenced the behavior of local politicians in the level of statistical significance at 0.05 and the level of opinions of the people in each region, the scores was in high level. This research had suggestion that the characteristic of local politicians correlated with the preferest of the people was honesty.
