Abstract

This research aims to development of personnel competency assessment standard criteria for medical secretary. The research was divided into two phases, part 1: medical personnel characteristics of medical secretaries using documentary research techniques and content analysis of medical secretary characteristic's trends and part 2: development of medical personnel competency assessment standard criteria for medical secretary using of Ethnographic Delphi Futures Research: EDFR technique by interviewing 17 expert, the trends of the main components and sub-components of medical personnel competency assessment standard criteria for medical secretary. And researcher was to measure an efficiency of the assessment criteria by applying IOC technique from expert. The results showed that the trends of the principle components and subcomponents of medical personnel competency assessment standard criteria for medical secretary consist of 8 principle components and 18 subcomponents (3AIECoST); 1) Academics was consisted of 3 subcomponents. 2) Accountability was consisted of 3 subcomponents. 3) Integrity was consisted of 2 subcomponents. 4) Empathy was consisted of 2 subcomponents 5) Analytical and Innovation Thinking was consisted of 2 subcomponents, 6) Team working was consisted of 2 subcomponents 7) Cooperation was consisted of 2 subcomponents. And 8) Self development was consisted of 2 subcomponents.
