The Thai Labour Movement during the Political Crises

Abstract

The Thai labour movement in the political crisis is the comparison between the terms of the 1991 coup and the 2006 coup. The labour movements are both labour movement and political movement of which resulted differently from the to move in the political crisis. In other words, the 1991 coup was resulted in the dissolved state enterprise unions altogether that was the driving factor to join the political movement (Black May in 1992). Meanwhile, the Thai labour movement both before and after the 2006 coup joined the political conflicts and issues important for the labour movement more than. However, the Thai labour movements keep in the split within them.
