People’s Participation in the Administration of Tambon Nongjik Administration Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province

Abstract

This research aims to study the level of people’s participation in the administration of Tambon Nongjik Administration Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province, classified by sex, age, level of education, and occupation, and to study problems and suggestions on the administration of Tambon Nongjik Administration Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province. The sample comprises 384 people with 18 years of age and over, living under the jurisdiction of Tambon Nongjik Administration Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province.Questionnaire was used to conduct the study. The statistics employed in the analysis of data consists of frequency, percentage, the mean and standard deviation. The results revealed that people’s participation in the administration of Tambon Nongjik Administration Organization, Borabue District, Mahasarakham Province, as a whole, is in the high level. When considered by aspect, all 4 aspects are in the high level. Ranked in descending order, the top 3 aspects are: participation in monitoring and evaluation, participation in posing problems, and participation in planning for operation.
