The Opinion of Student’s towards Learning Facilities of College of Politics and Governance Mahasarakham University

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to determine the opinions of students in college of politics and governance about learning facilities at college of politics and governance at Mahasarakham University, 2) to compare the opinions among students in college of politics and governance towards learning facilities in college of politics and governance at Mahasarakham University, and 3) to investigate the problems about learning facilities facing students as well as their suggestions on the improvement of facilities provided. Samples of the study are 367 students who are studying in academic year of 2016. A questionnaire was employed as a data collection method. Percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-square, t-test, and F-test (ANOVA) were used as statistics to analyze quantitative data. The results of this study showed that 1) the opinions of students towards learning facilities overview is at the high level, which is xˉ= 3.60. This can be distinguished into each part of learning facilities: the classroom is at the high level (= 3.66), the library is at the high level (ˉ = 3.75), the computer lab is at the high level (= 3.61), and the building is at moderate (= 3.39). 2) Students in different years have a different opinion towards the learning facilities provided. Students in different major have different opinion towards the library. There are no differences in opinion of students who have different sex, education scheme, behavior and experience towards the learning facilities provided. 3) The problems concerning facilities are as follows. For the classrooms, air-conditioners are broken. Regarding the library, there are not enough spaces for self-study. For the computer room, the number of computer is too small compared with the number of students. Some of computers are inefficient. Regarding the building, Wi-Fi signal does not cover all the areas of the building. Students suggested that the suitable size of air conditioners is needed to be installed in the classrooms. The number of desks and chairs needed to be increased in the library. Efficient and high standard computers must be provided in the computer room. The number of computers must be enough for the requirement of students. For the building, areas for motorcycles parking and the lights must be more provided.
