Leadership Affecting Effectiveness of Prime Minister Position According to the Attitude of the People: A Case Study of General Prayut Chan-o-cha

Abstract
The purpose of this research were 1) to study the leadership of General Prayut Chan-o-cha, 2) to identify the leadership affecting effectiveness of Prime Minister position according to the attitude of the people, and 3) to compare the leadership behavior affecting effectiveness of Prime Minister position according to the attitude of the people. The samples used in this research included 625 eligible voters in Thailand, through a non-proportional stratified random sampling by randomly selected from each of the four regions of Thailand, The instrument used for the data collection was questionnaire. Data were analyzed through use of frequencies distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA, Chi-square (x2), Pearson’s correlation (Pearson r), and Regression analysis (Regression). The result that the leadership behavior of General Prayut Cha-o-cha with a trend in directive leadership. Leadership of General Prayuth Chan-o-cha was rated at the medium level. (= 3.40). Besides, the leadership of General Prayuth Chan-o-cha would have an impact on effectiveness of workings in Prime Minister position according to the attitude of people. (Sig. = 0.00). And, there were differences regarding leadership behavior of General Prayut Cha-o-cha, whereas there were no differences regarding effectiveness of working in Prime Minister position according to the attitude of people at .05 level of significance. (Sig. = 0.32).
