From December 1, 2022, the Journal of Politics and Governance will only accept research articles and academic articles in English. The scope of disciplines covered in the Journal of Politics and Governance includes political science, public administration, international relations, and other related fields as specified in UNESCO's International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED). Articles focusing primarily on the Indo-Pacific region are especially encouraged.
All articles are preliminarily reviewed by the editorial team. Once an article has passed the preliminary review process, it will undergo a quality assessment by experts in a double-blind system.
A research article should include the following sections: Abstract, Background and Significance of the Research, Theoretical Framework or Research Concept, Research Methodology, Research Findings, Conclusions and Discussions, or other parts as appropriate.
An academic article usually includes an abstract, the importance of the topic, analysis, conclusion, and any other sections that might apply to the study.
The main text should be between 4,000 - 7,000 words.
In-text citations and references are formatted with APA style, 6th edition.
