บทคัดย่อ

Faculty of Management Science, Ubon Ratchathani University : Its local society serving researches

The purposes of this paper were to gather and synthesize the local society serving researches of the Faculty of Management Science, Ubon Ratchathani University operated during the years 2011-2013 , with an integrated methodology of document research , qualitative research and depth interview during May 2014. The results showed that during the years 2011 to 2013 , there were 5 researches have been conducted by 11 researchers consisted of 9 researchers from the faculty of management science and 1 researcher from faculty of Liberal Arts and 1 researcher from Faculty of Agriculture.Research fund provided from four major sources: Thai Research Fund(TRF) provided 2 funds, National Research Council of Thailandprovided f 1 fund , Office of the Higher Education Commissionprovided 1 fund : OHEC and Faculty of Management Science provided 1 fund .It was found that the research titles and the findings of5researches consistent with total of 10 curriculums provided by The Faculty of Management Science. Moreover, the research also built the awareness of human living and debt condition, money saving behavior, participation for society and knowledge management for career, especially the knowledge in agriculture as it was the basis career of the target group. The research also created 2 levelsof changes consist of researcher level; thinking system, empathy, working opportunity and networking and community level ; learning process, management process, and self reliance.Moreover, the resultsof the studies can build 5 processes for local society; developmentof human competence, work provision, knowledge and learning skill building, and the mechanic for sustainability those also match to 21th century learning processes. However, there was a gap found in the research operation i.e. the short duration of only 1-2 years of research operation resulted to the unclear impact of researches resulted toward the target groups therefore, the target group couldn’t reach the ability of self- reliance. Therefore, the various fund sources should encourage the further research conducting to strengthen the economic and social prospects of sustainability
