เครื่องมือการวิเคราะห์ความสำคัญและผลการดำเนินงานเพื่อการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้แสดงการใช้เครื่องมือการวิเคราะห์ความสำคัญและผลการ ดำเนินงาน (Importance-performance analysis: IPA) ที่ใช้เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการ จัดการในหลายหน่วยงานรวมทั้งหน่วยงานการท่องเที่ยว วัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ 1) เพื่อทบทวนวรรณกรรมเกี่ยวกับคำจำกัดความและคุณลักษณะของการท่องเที่ยวเชิง นิเวศซึ่งสามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการเก็บข้อมูลด้วย IPA ต่อไป และ 2) เพื่อเสนอแนะการประยุกต์ใช้ IPA กับการท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศของประเทศไทย ผู้จัดการแหล่งท่องเที่ยว เชิงนิเวศสามารถใช้ข้อมูลจาก IPA ในการกำหนดนโยบาย กลยุทธ์ และแผนการดำเนินงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพภายใต้การมีทรัพยากรจำกัด ส่งผลให้การจัดการการ ท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้นสอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน และ สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศ นำไปสู่การเพิ่มขีดความสามารถการแข่งขันในตลาดการท่องเที่ยว

An Importance-Performance Analysis Tool for Effective Ecotourism Management

This study demonstrates how to apply an importanceperformance analysis (IPA) tool that has been employed to enhance management efficiency in many organizations including tour agencies. The purposes of this study are 1) to review literature on definitions and attributes of ecotourism which can be further applied to collect data in the IPA method and 2) to make recommendations to the IPA application on ecotourism in Thailand. Managers of ecotourism sites can use information from the IPA to effectively set the policies, strategies and action plans under the limited resources condition. As a result, ecotourism management can be more efficient, consistent with sustainable development, and meet the needs of ecotourists, leading to an increased competitiveness in the tourism market.
