Abstract
Linking Itinerary and Tourism Promotion Program in the History and Culture of the Four provinces in Southern Thailand
The objectives of this study are 1) to investigate the historical and cultural tourism and tourism promotion activities in four provinces in the south of Thailand, 2) to study promotional activities of four provinces in the south of Thailand, and 3) to create promotional program and yearly calendar of the historical and cultural tourism by linking the four provinces. The researchers conducted a study by studying and gathering information from the documents, related researches, interviews from various agencies such as provincial cultural office and tourism and sports office including the area to explore the historical and cultural tourism of the four provinces, tour operators, and ASEAN tourists. The results showed that it can be arranged more versatile to suit and attract ASEAN community tourists as a one-day trip, two-days and one night trip, and three-days and two nights trip. In addition, researchers have proposed a model of relations in different ways to the provinces by using the media or public relations form a distinctive and obvious, such as a calendar of activities and presentation in different journeys.
