Abstract
The Influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior towards Organizational Learning Culture of University Lecturers in Songkhla Provinces
The research was aimed at: (1) investigating the levels oforganizational learning culture, (2) studying the levels of organizational citizenship behaviors, and (3) examining the extent to which such organizational citizenship behaviors influenced the organizational learning cultures of university lecturers in Songkhla. The samples were 286 lecturers from universities in Songkhla. Multi-stage sampling was used including stratified random sampling, proportion stratified sampling and purposive sampling. The research tool used in the study was a questionnaire. SPSS and LISREL were also used to analyze data. The results of this study revealed that the overall level of the organizational learning culture of the university lecturers in Songkhla was at a moderate level. It was also found that organizational citizenship behaviors of the university lecturers in Songkhla was at a high level. The consistency check results of the structural equation model of the influence of organizational citizenship behavior towards organizational learning culture ofuniversity lecturers in Songkhlaprovincesand the empirical data were at good level (==122.61, df=47, RMSEA = 0.075, SRMR = 0.061, CFI =0. 9 8). The study of the influence of the organizational citizenship behaviors on the organizational learning culture of the university lecturers in Songkhla revealed that such behaviors had a positive direct effect on the cultures, and its statistical significance level was at .01 with the path coefficient of 0.64. The research findings are useful for policy makers to improve the level of organizational learning culture. The implications for this are promoting conscientiousness among organizational members to maintain the desirable level of organizational citizenship behaviors, encouraging university lecturers to participate in forum and dialogue programs for organizational learning culture practicing.
