THE ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS PERCEIVED BY TEACHERS UNDER NONGKHAEM DISTRICT OFFICE, BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINISTRATION

This aims of this research were 1) to study the level of academic leadership of school administrators perceived by teachers under Nongkhaem District Office, Bangkok metropolitan administration, and 2) to compare the academic leadership of school administrators perceived by teachers under Nongkhaem District Office, Bangkok metropolitan administration according to teachers’gender, education background and work experience. This quantitative research made use of the framework and concepts of Hallinger and Murphy, and integrated stratified random sampling by implementing questionnaire to 336 teachers of the semester B.E.2565 under Nongkhaem District Office, Bangkok metropolitan administration. The descriptive statistics found in this research were mean and standard deviation, whereas the used inference statistics were t-test and one-way ANOVA.
The findings revealed that 1)The overall score of the academic leadership of school administrators perceived by teachers under Nongkhaem District Office, Bangkok metropolitan administration was at high level, and 2) The comparison results of the academic leadership perceived by teachers under Nongkhaem District Office, Bangkok metropolitan administration according to the teachers’gender, education background and work experience showed that each variable and overall were different at non-significance level of .05.
The results of this study could be utilized as the beneficial information for school administrators to raise their academic leadership, in order to create school development policy and plan to improve academic management in school and human resource enhancement, which advantaged the education quality to succeed the further goals.
