การวิจัยครั้งนี้มุ่งศึกษา 1) สภาพการดำเนินการจัดการความปลอดภัยในสถานศึกษา โรงเรียนวัดจันทร์ประดิษฐาราม สำนักงานเขตภาษีเจริญ กรุงเทพมหานคร 2) ปัจจัยด้านความปลอดภัยภายในสถานศึกษา โรงเรียนวัดจันทร์ประดิษฐาราม สำนักงานเขตภาษีเจริญ กรุงเทพมหานคร กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา 5 คน ครู 80 คน คณะกรรมการสถานศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน 14 คน และนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 – 3 237 คน รวมกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่นับได้แน่นอนจำนวนน 336 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบสอบถามฉบับที่ 1 แบบสอบถามสภาพการดำเนินการจัดการความปลอดภัยในสถานศึกษา ฉบับที่ 2 แบบสอบถามปัจจัยด้านความปลอดภัยในสถานศึกษา สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) สภาพการดำเนินการจัดการความปลอดภัยในสถานศึกษา โรงเรียนวัดจันทร์ประดิษฐาราม สำนักงานเขตภาษีเจริญ กรุงเทพมหานคร ตามความคิดเห็นของผู้บริหาร ครู คณะกรรมการสถานศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน และนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 – 3 พบว่า โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก 2) ปัจจัยด้านความปลอดภัยภายในสถานศึกษา โรงเรียนวัดจันทร์ประดิษฐาราม สำนักงานเขตภาษีเจริญ กรุงเทพมหานคร ตามความคิดเห็นของผู้บริหาร ครู คณะกรรมการสถานศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน และนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 – 3 ต่อปัจจัยด้านความปลอดภัยภายในสถานศึกษา โรงเรียนวัดจันทร์ประดิษฐาราม สำนักงานเขตภาษีเจริญ กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ข้อเสนอแนะที่ได้จากการวิจัย สภาพการดำเนินการจัดการความปลอดภัยในสถานศึกษาโรงเรียนวัดจันทร์ประดิษฐารามในเรื่องการจัดระบบการดูแลคุ้มครองเด็กที่ดี กำหนดให้มีโครงการป้องกันยาเสพติด โรงเรียนควรให้ความสนใจเป็นพิเศษ มีการคัดกรอง สังเกตพฤติกรรมนักเรียนกลุ่มเสี่ยง มีการจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมพัฒนาจิตใจ พัฒนาศักยภาพนักเรียนอย่างหลากหลาย และโรงเรียนควรมีการบูรณาการความร่วมมือจากผู้ปกครอง ชุมชน ตำรวจท้องที่ เจ้าหน้าที่เทศกิจ เพื่อช่วยกันป้องกัน แก้ไขอุบัติเหตุ อุบัติภัยได้ทันต่อสถานการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้น
