DEVELOPMENT OF OPERATIONAL COMPETENCIES OF WAIYAKAKORN IN SUPHANBURI PROVINCE

This research article is a mixed methods research study. Between qualitative research and quantitative research Use the concept of waiyakakorn characteristics. Performance of waiyakakorn and the concept of developing waiyakakorn’s operational competency as a research framework. The research area is Suphan Buri Province. The sample group consisted of 220 waiyakakorn’s in Suphan Buri Province using a proportional stratified selection method. Initially, a random sample was drawn. By sampling using a simple random method. Then, random sampling was carried out using a systematic random method. The research tools used were interviews and questionnaires. Statistics used in data analysis include percentages. Mean and standard deviation and methods of multiple regression analysis Qualitative research Used to analyze content and write descriptive narratives.
The results of the research found that: 1) Overall, waiyakakorn’s operational competency was at a high level. When considering each aspect, the first is the acquisition of property as religious property of the temple, followed by the preservation of the temple's money. And the aspect with the least average value is the setting aside of the land where the temple is used to be used. 2) Developing the work performance of the waiyakakorn. In managing the property of Buddhism according to correctness It is very necessary to have government agencies take responsibility for maintenance. In preparing the register of beneficial assets Register the tenant or resident correctly. The temple must enter into a firm contract of obligation with the tenant. The temple must issue a receipt showing receipt every time. 3) Guidelines for developing the work performance of Waiyakakorn is to develop knowledge and understanding about temple property and classification of temple property. Preparing a register of beneficial assets Prepare a stable property register, including any contracts, and develop knowledge about keeping the temple's money.
